Thank You & looking forward to 2022

 

This year's event saw almost 500 participants tackle our muddy run and across the ground of Sledmere House and Get Caked in mud whilst supporting over 20 different charities! 

 

You all tackled every stretch of mud and every single obstacle that we put in your way along the route. It was jam-packed full of muddy action, without your great enthusiasm all the way round the course, it wouldn't have been such a great event. We had the good weather on our side for the event, but even with this you all got wet and caked in mud thanks to our over 20 obstacles. Which was your favourite? 

 

Up to now, the event has raised over £20,000 for charities with sponsorship still coming in from Get Caked participants. It was an incredible effort from everyone who took part, raising money for great causes, at a time were charities need it most. 2020 was a tough year for us all, for many charities, 2020 was a scary year and for most we weren't sure whether we would be able to carry on; it's only with the continued support from people like you that allow all the charities to carry on fulfilling their causes. With events like Get Caked we wouldn't be able to carry on that important work, so thank you for getting involved and choosing our event! 

 

We had to reschedule the event multiple times and, in 2021, we were finally able to go ahead. For Dove House, it was our first event back after the cancellations that occured in 2020 and what a return it was! It's great to see so many people getting involved and really getting stuck in. 

 

 

With the great success of the event, we are already looking forward to 2022! 

 

At the moment we don't have a set date but as soon as it is booked in we will be releasing the inforation here on the website, as well as on our social media channels. We'll make sure the event is bigger and better for 2022, you just be ready to Get Caked once again. 

 

 

We want to give a final thank you to everyone that made the event possible. Without the staff at Dove House, volunteers from the different charities and from Absolutley Cultured as well as the team at Sledmere House, the event wouldn't be possible. Also a big thanks to the hundreds of participants at the event, without you it wouldn't have gone so well! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and we're sure you can't wait for 2022 just like us.
